ASSORTED NOTEBOOKS
Some of the notebooks I sketched ideas in. Some of these were kindly sent to me by Moleskine Italy after I wrote to them in early 2007.
BOX FILES OF ASSORTED DRAFTS
The post-it notes, stuck inside the lid of one of the boxes, contain chapter summaries. These notes were shuffled into different orders as the sequence of the chapters changed.

I wrote the novel while studying for an MA in Creative Writing at the Manchester Writing School. Many chapters were ‘workshopped’ during these classes. Here’s a page with annotations from one of my classmates.
